Specific project manager responsibilities include developing project plans, leading project management to end goal of taking product to market, tracking progress, establish and maintain project documentation.
Responsibilities
Assistin the introduction & understanding of best practice project management methodologies.
Leading project management to end goal of taking new products to market.
Head lead role into R&D project management .
Manage the staff and implementing new programs/projects that aim to develop the company products.
Identify job vacancies, determine skills and qualifications of new R&D employees and participate in candidate selection.
Define program and individual project success criteria and objectives.
Planning and evaluating R&D Center activities.
Monitor team metrics and objectives to track progress and ensuring meeting the goals.
Facilitate all inter-and intra-departmental inquiries on time.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Establishmentand continuation of team-meetings to increase capabilities in relation to problem-solving, plan updates, decision making.
Retrospective reviews within the project to understand potential future improvements.
Negotiate shared objectives with cross functional team members.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Establishand maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Biomedical engineering or any relevant field.
PMP certificate.
A minimum of “5 years” experience within the medical device industry, coupled with proven Project Management methodology and skills.
Sound knowledge of research and innovation.
Having a firm level of knowledge and understanding in Medical Device development from concept through to commercialization, alongside an understanding of the manufacturing side.
Demonstrating the ability and track record to prioritize and manage multiple project workloads, whilst showing an ability to process improvement and management skills throughout.
Highly motivated individual whom is a self- starter with a passion for excellence.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
