- The Deputy Chief of Party is responsible for managing a team of senior staff and partners and ensuring quality, timeliness, efficiency and cost effectiveness of all products and activities generated under the project. The DCOP serves as acting Chief of Party when the COP is absent or unavailable.
- Work under the leadership of the COP to support the technical teams in the implementation of the program to improve the quality of basic education, develop primary and secondary school opportunities, expand access to vocational education, create safe school environments, strengthen education governance, and support IDPs;
- Provide technical direction and on-going guidance and advice to staff and consortium members in fulfilling their respective roles under the project
- Monitor project performance, outputs and outcomes to advise Chief of Party and other senior staff on adaptations or adjustments to be made during implementation
