Liaison with management

• Ensures proper adherence of nutritional principles (ICMR and IDA standards) thereby improving the nutritional status of the patients
• Consults with a team of healthcare practitioners for dietary plan

Dietary Procedures

• Assess patients’ and clients’ health needs and diet
• Counsels patients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits
• Evaluates the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed
• Keep up with the latest nutritional science research
• Develops nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of patient’s current health
• Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly assessments of clients and adapt nutrition plans as needed
• Implements personalized, age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies

Maintain Records

• Writes up reports detailing the clients progress
• Updates patient’s medical chart and records information
• Gathers statistics and organizes reports when conducting research
• Draws up a meal plan for client's dietary requirements
