Senior Compliance & MLRO Officer

Job Description

• Support the head of compliance in the designing, implementation, and oversight of the company’s compliance controls and monitoring programs.
• Identify compliance key risk indicators, define and maintain periodic monitoring and reporting.
• Proper knowledge of the concept of corporate governance and its principles.
• Conduct compliance reviews to ensure that the company and all staff are compliant to relevant bylaws and regulations.
• Detect and report any internal breaches with regards to compliance matters and support the manager in taking corrective actions.
• Prepare reports related to compliance, risk and AML.
• Identified as the key stakeholder of the risk & compliance department in combating / preventing financial related crimes.
• Ensure that the company’s standards related to combating financial crime policies, and practices are effectively implemented and followed by all of staff.
• Monitor AML/CFT and fraud trends, intelligence, typologies, and regulatory developments.
• Responsible for the investigation of fraud.
• Any other compliance matters determined by the head of compliance.

Job Requirements

• A diploma or college degree.
• 3 or more years of experience as a Compliance officer.
• 2 or more years of experience in relation to combating financial crimes (AML / CFT)
• Background in the Insurance industry is an advantage.
• Computer literate and good command over spoken and written Arabic & English.
• Good presentation skills.
