Pricing Executive / Ocean Freight

Job Description

• Manages procurement, allocation capacity and pricing activities with proactively attending all request for quotations (RFQ’s) which are received from sales and/or key accounts management, in addition to fulfilling regional tenders on the agreed time frame, and Builds strategic rapport with the vendors and suppliers to have the maximum benefits along with Agility standards and approaches.
• Controls cost, Negotiates and manages service contracts and space allocation with ensuring competitiveness of pricing to maximize profitability.
• Implements and grows usage of national pricing centre (NPC) functionality in new IT-environment (freight operations and costumer information system (FOCiS) quotation module (QM) NPC Threshold Matrix NPC Workflow and other related functionalities).
• Visits Vendors & steamship lines regularly in addition to Follows up for sourcing & updating vendors/steamship lines Contact List, Leads and guides strategic business development and joint sales visits as appropriate.
