Position Summary:

ATIS is seeking a qualified and experienced Elementary Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the American curriculum and a passion for supporting student learning and growth in a multicultural valuesbased environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum for students in Grades 15.

• Create a safe inclusive and studentcentered classroom environment.

• Use a variety of instructional strategies and formative assessments to support diverse learners.

• Collaborate with gradelevel teams and subject specialists to enhance learning outcomes.

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic progress and classroom activities.

• Participate actively in school events meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education or a related subject (required).

• Masters Degree in Education (preferred).

• 35 years of relevant teaching experience in American curriculum schools.

• Training and familiarity with the American Education System (essential).

• Excellent English communication skills reading writing and speaking (essential).

• Recognised teaching certification or licensure (preferred).

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: Generous and negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

• Accommodation:

  • Free fully furnished single accommodation with utilities included or

  • Housing allowance of KWD 150/month.

  • Teachers with families may access a 2bedroom apartment for KWD 90/month.

  • Access to facilities including a gym and swimming pool.

• Transportation:

  • Free twoway school transport for the first 3 months.

  • Optional continued service for KWD 20/month thereafter.

• Airfare:

  • Initial joining ticket from home country.

  • Annual summer return ticket.

  • Return ticket at the end of the contract.

• Medical Insurance:

  • Government health insurance for the first two years.

  • Private health insurance from the third year onward.

• Tuition Discount:

  • 100 discount on school tuition fees for up to two children (subject to management approval).

• Visa Support:

  • Reimbursement of up to KWD 100 for visa expenses in home country (with receipts).

Working Conditions:

• Contract Length: Two years renewable by mutual agreement.

• Working Days: Approximately 177 teaching days per academic year.

• Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday 7:10 AM to 2:40 PM.
