Business Analyst

About the Job

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats (BRD Documents)
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams (Mainly UML diagrams); studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Identifying specific business opportunities
• Leading projects and coordinating with other teams to produce better business outcomes
• Involve in developing business processes for the specified product (System). Testing business processes and recommending improvements
• Lead the business case development
• Involve in monitoring system development and ensure requirements are being met.
• Eliciting requirements and translating and simplifying requirements
• Download and evaluate systems by studying current practices; design requirements and functionalities.
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
• Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst in Software business
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• High communication and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Highly proficient technical writing capabilities
• Strong ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• UML Diagrams.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
• Modeling techniques and methods.
