الوصف الوظيفي
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Duty Engineer to join our team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our engineering department you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all equipment within our property.
- Assist the Director of Engineering and the Assistant Chief Engineer in overseeing daytoday operations of the facility
- Supervise and perform maintenance tasks on various building systems including HVAC electrical and plumbing
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Train and mentor junior staff members on proper maintenance procedures
- Implement and adhere to safety regulations and best practices
- Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent trade certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar engineering role
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment maintenance
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to train and mentor team members
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Customerfocused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Keen attention to detail and resultsoriented approach
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in facility management
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Physical ability to perform handson maintenance tasks when necessary
