A Membership & Events Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:
- Leadership skills excellent communication skills and a customercentric approach to fostering a positive and engaging club experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably Arabic
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and experience with membership management platforms such as PeopleVine and Salesforce
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
- Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills
- Extensive network and experience in the creative industries
- Demonstrated expertise in driving and retaining membership and/or sales into a similar business
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire others
- Datadriven approach to membership management with the ability to interpret and act on key metrics
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring member satisfaction
- Passion for creativity community building and hospitality
- Experience in managing a team of 2 or more
- A minimum of 5 years experience including a strong knowledge of consumer behaviour cultural insights and ability to translate into revenue growth
- Available to work on evenings weekends and holidays required based on event schedules
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management in luxury establishment or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Experience in marketing and sales strategies
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Previous experience in a members club hospitality or luxury concierge

The Membership & Events Manager is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of a membershipbased club. The role includes managing member relations coordinating events and activities ensuring member retention and satisfaction and maintaining smooth operational functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership excellent communication skills and a customercentric approach to fostering a positive and engaging club experience.
What will I be doing
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Member Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members.
- Actively identify and build relationships with key figures connectors and tastemakers to attract highquality members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Regularly attend member events connecting with members and ensuring they feel valued and engaged.
- Monitor and act on member data and retention metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Handle member inquiries complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Develop strategies to increase member retention and engagement.
- Implement proactive strategies and initiatives to attract new members and expand club membership.
- Build Members base from inception of club
2. Event Planning & Coordination:
- Organise and manage events and programmes for members (e.g. social gatherings educational workshops recreational activities).
- Coordinate event logistics including venue arrangements catering and entertainment.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners as necessary for event success.
- Promote events to increase member participation.
3. Membership Sales & Recruitment:
- Actively market membership programmes and recruitment campaigns to attract new members.
- Conduct tours and presentations to prospective members.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase membership growth.
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new members including providing orientation and introductory materials.
- Be the primary contact for all applications and liaise with allocated Members approval board
4. Staff Management:
- Recruit train and manage a team of club membership staff ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism.
- Provide ongoing training and development for staff members.
- Create work schedules and manage staffing levels according to club needs.
- Assist with day to day activities where required by the operation and/or requested by the General Manager
- Act as one of the main contacts for any consultants/promoters for the Members club
5. Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare and deliver regular snapshot status reports and meetings with the General Manager
- Prepare and submit regular reports on membership numbers financial status event attendance and other performance metrics.
- Manage membership renewals and process payments.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to ensure the club remains competitive and innovative.
