الوصف الوظيفي

  • Sourcing and vendor Management: identifying potential suppliers soliciting bids or quotations and evaluating vendor capabilities. This involves maintaining a database of approved vendors and assessing their performance.
  • Negotiation: Negotiation contracts pricing terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.
  • Purchase Orders: Creating and managing purchase orders for the goods or services needed by various departments within the organization.
  • Suppliers Relations Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery quality and responsiveness.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implementing strategies to mitigate them. This includes managing issues like supply shortages quality problems and disruptions.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that the procurement process adheres to organizational policies and government regulations. This includes maintaining proper documentation and transparency in the procurement process.
  • Market Research: Keeping Up to date with industry trends market conditions and new products/services to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Cost Control: Working to optimize cost through bulk purchases negotiation and efficient supplier management.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinating with relevant departments to manage inventory levels and avoid overstock or stokouts.
  • Budgeting: Collaborating with finance department to create and manage budgets related to procurement activities.
  • Reporting: Providing regular reports on procurement activities cost saving and supplier performance to management.

Qualifications :

 Bachelors degree in supply chain or equivalent

5 Years Experience / Engineering Sector

Additional Information :

 **Security clearance**


This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a nonITAR country.
