Job Title: High Mileage Test Engineer
Duration: 6 months (Extendable)
Location: Cairo Egypt

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Mileage Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 25 years of engineering experience with a focus on fault analysis instrumentation and validation testing of electronic systems. The candidate will play a key role in the testing and analysis of electronic faults particularly within prototype testing ensuring smooth operations and accurate data collection. The successful candidate will have exposure to industryleading tools and will contribute to the testing of cuttingedge technologies in collaboration with the clients team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of electronic faults identified during prototype testing (client) using CANalyzer.
• Create technical events via ALTIS to document faults and ensure efficient troubleshooting.
• Instrument prototype vehicles (client) with signal recorders for ECU communication and system performance analysis.
• Design and implement test campaigns configure test setups and associate instrumentation with vehicles for validation testing.
• Conduct tests and gather data related to Big Data/SI Roulage systems.
• Train and guide new recruits providing mentorship and sharing knowledge on the testing process and tools.
• Ensure the accurate collection and analysis of test data and provide detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth execution and accurate test results.

Others:

• Engineer will not have to drive vehicles; a supplier of Client will do.
• Engineer should pilot and manage the testing planning of High Mileage activities with Supplier AND Client
• Engineer should do instrumentation of Vehicles (prototypes) before starting of the test. Instrumentation means installation of OBD and preparation of Vehicle using Client standards. The tools will be provided by Client
• Engineer should know CANALYZER tool (Its mandatory).
• Engineer should do analysis of EE and Mechanical defaults (as NVH and so on) after that test is finished. Then Our Engineer should share the report and recommendation with Client
• Engineer should understand Mechanical parts EE Architecture and defaults detection.
• Engineer could have to do some manual intervention ON vehicles to analyze mechanicals parts replace some ones

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 25 years of experience in fault analysis instrumentation and validation testing preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience with CANalyzer for fault analysis and diagnostics.
• Strong handson experience in the instrumentation of prototypes including setting up signal recorders for ECU communication.
• Familiarity with ALTIS for creating technical events.
• Understanding of Big Data/SI Roulage systems and their applications in vehicle testing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for training new recruits and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with client systems and prototype testing.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques.
