Videographer Photographer

A Videographer/Photographer at The Plaza Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts, is responsible for the overall advertising of the hotel. As a key member of our marketing and creative team, you will play a crucial role in capturing and curating visually stunning content that reflects the essence of our brand's unparalleled luxury and sophistication.What will I be doing?As a Videographer/Photographer you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:• Serve as the primary videographer and photographer for The Plaza Doha LXR Hotels & Resorts, responsible for creating marketing materials, promotional videos, advertising campaigns, and digital media content align with the LXR brand standards. • Capture high-quality event content, including candid moments and staged setups, to showcase luxurious experiences. • Produce product-focused content, such as food and beverage photography, venue imagery, team member events, and recruitment advertisements. • Oversee the entire process of content creation, from capturing footage to editing, ensuring alignment with brand standards and liaising with the Content Creator as necessary. • Curate a visually stunning gallery of images and videos that effectively represent the brand in marketing and press materials. • Collaborate with the marketing and press teams to shape the visual storytelling across various content touchpoints and maintain the brand's digital asset library. • Utilize graphics, animations, data visualization, music, and voiceovers to enhance the professional quality of content. • Coordinate all activities and materials for each photographic and video shoot project, adhering to detailed content briefs and securing necessary permissions for image use. • Stay abreast of video and photography trends to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive. • Participate in press and marketing meetings to contribute insights and support creative objectives. What are we looking for?• Previous experience in a luxury setting, with a strong understanding of the standards and expectations associated with premium brands. • Exceptional proficiency in digital photography and videography techniques, demonstrating excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail. • Passion for both photography and videography, with a commitment to upholding editorial integrity and brand standards. • Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools and asset management software, including Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Photo Mechanic. • Strong IT skills, particularly in content creation software and digital media management. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. • Flexibility to work varying hours and meet deadlines in a dynamic hospitality environment. • Sound knowledge of social media platforms and emerging trends in digital content creation. • Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, and a positive attitude in all interactions. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Comfortable working under pressure and adaptable to changing circumstances. • Ambition to grow within the brand and a commitment to a long-term position.
