Digital Transformation Specialist Our client is a leading energy business based in Doha, Qatar and due to phenomenal growth plans, they are looking to add a Digital Transformation Specialist to their IT team to play a leading role in the company's tech future. Some of the key responsibilities include: • Developing a strategy for implementing technology solutions that align with company goals • Developing a roadmap for use case development, prototyping, testing, deployment, and monitoring of new technology solutions. • Assess current 'as is' state by assessing internal capabilities and future state. • Lead the development of the digital business strategy and roadmap and ensures its integration with the enterprise strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans • Develop relationships with key stakeholders. • Be the point of contact for the business for oversight for all digital initiatives and transformation projects. The successful candidate will need: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline. • 15 or more years of business experience, ideally in business management or IT management, ideally with some independent P&L responsibilities. • Five or more years of progressive leadership in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programmes. • Experience in innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or business transformation. • Strategy and management consulting experience desirable. • Deep understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people/companies are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies).
