Job Purpose:To develop and execute comprehensive public relations (PR) strategies that enhance the public image and reputation of the Authority. You will build strong relationships with media and stakeholders, manage media inquiries, and oversee all communication initiatives on a local, regional, and international scale. This role is critical in raising awareness of the Authority's vision, mission, and achievements.Key Responsibilities:• Strategic Communication : Develop and implement effective PR plans and strategies aligned with the Authority's overall communication goals.• Analyze public opinion and media trends to inform proactive PR initiatives.• Oversee internal communication efforts to ensure employees are informed and aligned with organizational objectives.• Media Relations : Build and maintain positive relationships with media representatives across various platforms (print, broadcast, online).• Manage media inquiries, press conferences, and media briefings in a timely and professional manner.• Secure high-level placements for the Authority in relevant media outlets.• Content Creation and Management : Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to promote the Authority's initiatives.• Manage a medium to high volume of social media content, ensuring consistent brand messaging and audience engagement.• Prepare informative and engaging content for various communication channels (website, publications, etc.).• Crisis Communication : Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage public perception during challenging situations.• Monitor potential reputational risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.• Provide timely and accurate information to media and stakeholders during crisis events.• Event Management : Plan, execute, and oversee internal and external events to promote the Authority's activities and foster positive relationships.• Manage logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure successful event execution.• Measurement and Evaluation : Prepare regular reports on media coverage, social media engagement, and other PR metrics.• Analyze PR campaign results and identify areas for improvement.• Continuously monitor and adapt PR strategies based on data and industry trends.Qualifications:Essential:• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.• 17+ years of experience in public relations or a related field.• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful PR strategies.• Excellent written and editing skills in Arabic with a working knowledge of English.• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Desirable:• Experience working in a government or public sector environment.• Proven track record of securing high-level media placements.• Experience in crisis communication and media relations.• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media scheduling tools.• Fluency in written and verbal English.• Experience with media monitoring and measurement tools.Benefits:• Competitive salary and benefits package (details to be included in the full job posting)• Opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the public image of a leading organization• Be part of a dynamic and results-oriented team
