ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers viewers delegates and guests through digital print events awards video content social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out Arabian Business Harper s Bazaar Construction Week Esquire and GQ.

This role is responsible for managing and producing content for and across Time Out Riyadh and Jeddah s English language social media platforms based out of ITP Media Saudi s Riyadh office. A key part of the Time Out team they will be a strong writer communicator and marketeer have excellent organisational skills and a track record of growing audience and engagement on social media platforms. In addition to a skill for identifying emerging channels and trends the role is responsible for creating content that drives Time Out s brand reach while always abiding by its brand principles and guidelines.



Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Create and distribute daily and hourly content produced by the Time Out team across brand social media accounts.
  • Ensure daily content targets and goals are met and content is posted at newsroom speed.
  • Identify the best platform for a particular piece of content deliver it creatively and to a high editorial standard across media including Instagram Facebook Twitter Snapchat TikTok YouTube and WhatsApp.
  • Alongside the Editor in Chief plan keep and execute a social media calendar in line with the overall editorial strategy and calendar.
  • Work with the Time Out editorial team to ensure our social media strategy informs and contributes to the overall editorial content strategy and calendar.
  • Work with the Editor in Chief to ensure ALL content reflects overall content / editorial strategy.
  • Devise a social media strategy that reaches engages informs and entertains a large audience within the Time Out voice and brand guidelines.
  • Have your eyes on the next big thing whether social media platform or trend on an existing platform and quickly identify how Time Out can activate.

  • Education: Must be educated to degree level or equivalent industry qualification.
  • Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English spoken and written Arabic desirable.

Key responsibilities Driving & managing monthly revenue across Time Out Jeddah and other GCC territories Responsible for pitching innovative executions for a wide variety of different clients. Exceed revenue targets via professional, high-quality pitching and presenting, both in response to briefs provided by clients and by proactively developing and pitching new concepts to potential brand partners. Drive brand-new revenue across both brands by establishing relationships with new partners and clients. Manage a client list and work closely with PR and media agencies, building and maintaining strong relationships in the industry. Create monthly and seasonal offers and products to increase and diversify opportunities for brand and commercial partners, identifying potential for events and activations. Create high-quality presentations that bring each pitch to life during the sales process, and flawless post-campaign reports. Think beyond the group, working with the Group Commercial Director to identify partners and brands from ITP Media Group s stable for company-wide amplification of campaigns. Work with the Commercial Director to ensure client briefs are exceeded, and the editorial director to ensure ALL executions reflects overall content / editorial standards and strategy. Have your finger on the pulse of the local scene, using professional contacts and social media networks to identify the next big thing in the market. Personal attributes and essential skills A doer. Education: Must be educated to degree level or equivalent industry qualification, with at least five years experience selling both to agencies and direct to clients. Essential: Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel. Is excited by the challenge of last-minute, ad-hoc projects in addition to daily output. Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
