IT Project Managers - Agile - Automotive

Our organization is seeking experienced IT Project Managers to join our team serving our automotive client in Michigan.

Location

Candidates should be based in Michigan and should be prepared to operate on a hybrid model.

Qualifications and Experience

• Agile methodology expertise
• SCRUM/PMI Certification
• Significant automotive industry experience
• Experience in application development/delivery
• Proven competence in crossfunctional technical collaboration
• A strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to efficiently resolve technical issues
• Knowledge of Telematics architecture and solutioning
• Familiarity with program lifecycle

Level II Responsibilities

In addition to the skills outlined above the Level II IT Project Manager will be

• Responsible for writing product specifications creating and executing against the project plan proactive risk mitigation and managing the software development life cycle from inception to production launch and postproduction support.
• Collaborating with project managers to establish plans and goals for each project setting objectives assigning tasks allocating budgets and agreeing on timetables for achieving intermediate and overall goals.
• Working with business and customer stakeholders to define product objectives and requirements.
• Consulting with internal departments to implement effective solutions including new functionality feature enhancements and code modifications to optimize application technical architecture for stability reliability and scalability.
• Collaborating with Product Management and business owners to define the Product Vision including strategies for utilizing and managing incoming data.
• Providing technical direction to the Connected Services development team supporting customer web portals and architecture through the outlining of stories and sprints.

Level III Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities of Level II the Level III IT Project Manager will

• Report to senior executives on the progress of individual projects and the overall program.
• Participate in the creation of individual project budgets and prepare cost estimates for the program whilst managing program budget to conform to policy.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in project management by prioritizing planning and tracking project progress.
• Interface with application developers to coordinate system implementation and releases.
• Provide highquality service to business customers as a primary support contact for applications.
• Oversee the 24x7 Application Management Support (AMS) team responsible for level2 and 3 support of telematics operations focusing on addressing outages/issues making businesscritical decisions and leading technical solutions.
