Strategic Project Manager
Job Description
Job Summary

The Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency time tracking against baseline plan effective communication thorough risk analysis quality assurance and the successful implementation of complex projects that are prominent delicate and multifaceted. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and successful launch of strategic products within the organization. This role requires strong leadership strategic thinking and project management skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management strategic planning and digital technology with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and delivery of strategic projects and initiatives within product management ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Work closely with senior leadership and crossfunctional teams to outline project scope objectives and success metrics and create comprehensive project plans and timelines.

  • Oversee project execution and oversee daily operations including resource allocation task delegation risk mitigation and problemsolving to guarantee the prompt and successful completion of projects.

  • Track project advancement and assess performance in relation to critical milestones and deliverables offering routine updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project status risks and challenges.

  • Collaborate closely with technology delivery teams to guarantee the effective implementation and integration of digital insurance solutions encompassing aspects such as development testing and deployment.

  • Establish and nurture robust connections with both internal and external stakeholders such as clients partners vendors and regulatory agencies to uphold project objectives and cultivate collaborative efforts.

  • Lead the ongoing enhancement and refinement of project management processes and methodologies fostering a culture of continuous improvement and disseminating best practices and insights throughout the organization.

  • Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting the digital insurance landscape and incorporate insights into project planning and execution.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on strategic projects or initiatives in the insurance industry or related sectors.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and initiatives from initiation to completion within budget and timeline constraints.

  • Experience in managing squads with the ability to motivate and inspire crossfunctional teams to achieve shared goals.

  • Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically solve problems and make datadriven decisions to drive business outcomes. o Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello Microsoft Project etc.).

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment adapting to changing priorities and overcoming challenges with resilience and determination.

  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry including knowledge of insurance products distribution channels and regulatory requirements.

  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP Prince2) is a plus.
