Mechanical Renewables Engineer Offshore Wind mfd

For the expansion of our consulting services the team is looking for support from a Mechanical / Renewables Engineer (m/f/d).

In this position you will support Merkurs technical and asset management team with a focus on tasks required to keep the turbines in the best possible technical condition. In his role the engineer will focus on the asset management of the foundations transition pieces array cables and towers of the wind turbine generators. Preferably the candidate will also be able to strengthen Merkurs consultancy services.

Tasks

• Support in Management of service contracts with external service providers
• Management of periodical asset inspections of third party surveyors
• Ensuring documentation of planned and corrective maintenance activities
• Coordination of activities between offshore providers and remote operations control center
• Project Management of smaller repair/retrofit activities
• Support in Management of large corrective repair works
• Coordination and operational management of maintenance related scope by Merkur service providers
• Occasional travel to the windfarm

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• A broad interest in all aspects of renewables which can be of a technical contractual or commercial nature
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• A team player with a handson mentality
• Good communication skills in German and English
