Job Scope:
Manage the import and export team to ensure compliance with customer operational/documentary requirements.

Establish customer relationships with existing clients where possible to maintain business.

Handle adhoc customer queries including sales/quotation and operational issues.

Liaise with customers and overseas offices/joint ventures on shipping operations costs and documentary requirements.

Key customer contacts.

Lead strategic contact and customer interface with key customers. Carriers/suppliers.

Coordinate/engage with carriers on operational activities issue resolution process execution and performance improvement in line with company policies.

Monitor carrier performance.

Internal.

Ensure export/import operators complete/invoice on time accurately input costs and accurately complete all transactions on TMS in a timely manner.

Collaborate with BD/M&S/AFR/VAS/FICO to handle rate applications operational matters and operational accounting matters.

Business performance and outcomes.

Identify monitor and execute operational unit objectives.

Quality and improvement.

Responsible for continuous improvement and optimization of processes as well as cost control. Ensure compliance with ISO/STP standards.
Requirements:
810 years of experience in the relevant field shipping/logistics/sea freight with at least 45 years of senior management/supervisory level experience.

Diploma degree or equivalent qualification in shipping/transport or business management (minimum requirement).
