We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Staff Accountant to join a 35yearold specialty manufacturing company with up to 600mm in revenue and an exceptional leadership team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years in technical accounting principles and practices excellent communication and analytical skills the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and food manufacturing experience.

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Visalia CA

Job Type: Fulltime. (OnSite)

Work Schedule: MF. 8am. 5pm.

Pay Rate and Benefits: 5065k annually. Outstanding benefit packages include 401k employer matching Paid Timeoff Medical Dental Vision and company paid life insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journal entries general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
  • Communicate with vendors customers and internal stakeholders to resolve any accountingrelated issues.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the annual audit process and ensure audit requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage)
  • Microsoft Excel experience mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make sound decisions
