Location: Manassa VA (Remote Traveling required when needed)

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Techno/Functional Lead for SAP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience with a strong background in Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry. As a key member of our team you will play a crucial role in leading activities related to standard design architecture verification and data/information management systems within the SAP environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead activities to ensure standard design and verify robust architecture data and information management systems and components.
• Identify design constraints and ensure architecture conforms to requirements.
• Incorporate architecture functions into the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage the configuration of architecture views and models.
• Assist with assessments of the impact of architectural decisions across applications.
• Perform tradeoff analyses to optimize system performance.
• Evaluate products for suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
• Create maintain and implement standards and reference architectures.
• Understand the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions.
• Communicate effectively on endtoend solutions with other teams and management on solution aspects.
• Experience with Business Process and/or Services Modeling in a global business environment.
• Contribute to the explore phase activities update and review associated deliverables.
• Work with the Functional team to translate solutions into detailed designs.
• Identify recommend and implement complex configuration solutions to meet business needs.
• Review and update associated documentation.
• Review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners.
• Review and approve the effectiveness of builds.
• Contribute to overall project requirements associated with transaction access report developments master data and batch job setup.
• Contribute to the overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology.
• Review and approve change requests during project sustainment.
• Coach and mentor others within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 14 years of experience in SAP Techno/Functional leadership roles.
• Proven experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry is a must.
• Indepth knowledge of SAP systems architecture and data management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Ability to travel as required.

Note: Aerospace & Defence experience is a must.
