Audiovisual Lead Technician Residential

• Provide technical installation and Guidance for basic and advanced integration projects
  
• Exhibit highlevel experience and ability in technical processes hardware and software
  
• Provide technical understanding and guidance for basic and advanced signal flow setup configure and test signal flow systems
  
• Possess an understanding of rack building procedure and tying in racks onsite
  
• Accurately document the installation procedure and complete the necessary paperwork
  
• Interface with customers and vendors on job sites
  
• Familiarity with product lines including Crestron Savant Sonos Lutron
  
• Working knowledge of Crestron Control 4 Lutron Hunter Douglas DMX Ubiquiti and/or Net Gear
  
• Perform basic troubleshooting using various software and testing tools
  
• Must have an understanding of AV floorplans wire schedules elevations & schematics
  
• Basic understanding of lighting and shade systems including HomeWorks QS low voltage wiring RPMs and breaker panels 010v wiring dimmers keypads repeaters shade wiring and setting shade limit.
  
• Ability to interact seamlessly with Designers/Architects & Home Owners.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in the AV Residential installation of audio video and/or audiovisual presentation systems and IT/Networks.
  
• Ability to travel is great to have.
  
• Daily commute to Mississauga Canada
  
• Ability to work independently be selfdirected and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
  
• Communication and customer relation skills
  
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
  
• Knowledgeable with AV Residential systems like Savant Control4 Lutron and Crestron Home.
  
• CEDIA or InfoComm CTS Certification preferred. Any other key industry certifications are a plus.
