QA Automation Engineer Min 8 Years Exp Must

Location: Boise ID ( priority) but any other location Spring TX Austin TX or Ft Collins CO 5 days onsite Role

FTE role with Mphasis only visa independent candidates (GCEAD/ USC/ L2/ GC/ H4EAD/ OPTEAD )

W2/1099 and Fulltime

The main duties are:

Build and Maintain Automation testing frameworks for applications (web client server and cloud) using JMeter and Selenium

Understand design specifications and develop highquality test plans and automation. Convert user stories to Manual/automated tests that can be reviewed by peers

Responsible for the review setup and execution of test plans and test cases both manual and automated.

Find the failures and root causes of issues to ensure the delivery of a highquality product to customers. Participate in continuous delivery and deployment take ownership and strive to become a better problem solver

Participate in software and system performance analysis tuning and demand/capacity planning for business critical large scale and high availability applications.

Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

Using software quality assurance tools and processes.

Software testing methodology including writing and execution of test plans debugging and testing scripts and tools.

Work with global teams to capture requirements and coarchitect solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent.
2. 5 years strong QA experience.
3. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
5. Strong work ethic with hands on skills
6. Able to build and delivery weekly test reports and daily status reports.

Skills

UI Automation using selenium/other.

Java / Python familiarity

API testing (manual) using postman jmeter or other.

knowledge of CI/CD (Github Docker Jenkins Maven)

SQL knowledge

familiarity with data analytics solution such as spark MapReduce

Experience in analyzing data in S3 redshift.

familiarity with data analytics solutions such as Databricks EMR etc

Experience in AWS services such as S3 EMR AWSIOT CloudWatch

Windows Client / Windows App testing
