Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Service Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and metallurgy to join our client. The ideal candidate will possess handson experience in the mining industry providing expert service and maintenance for our range of specialized equipment. Mainly engaged in crushers and screens for mines and sand & aggregates. Also spare parts maintenance and remanufacturing services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance of mining equipment and machinery.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering and metallurgy principles to solve operational issues.
• Conduct equipment inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and staff.
• Develop and implement service protocols and guidelines for equipment maintenance.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
• 25 years of professional experience in the mining industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and metallurgical processes as they relate to mining operations.
• Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in challenging and varied environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Mineral Processing Equipment experience and understanding includes:
  • Crushing plant
  • Screening plant
  • Mobile Series Plants
  • Auxiliary plant
