DevOps Engineer 100 Remote EST

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role based in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. This position requires expertise in Terraform Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and HashiCorp Vault.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for cloud deployments.
• Create automation scripts using Bash or Python for efficient orchestration of tasks.
• Support stateless applications in a production environment.
• Administer Linux systems focusing on systemd.
• Implement containerization technologies like Docker for application deployment.

Requirements:

• 7 years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Handson experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred).
• Knowledge of logging metrics and monitoring tools (ELK DataDog Prometheus).
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secret management solutions.
• Understanding of security standards and best practices (NIST 800207 Zero Trust).

Nice to Have:

• Additional programming languages like Java Kotlin Node.js or Golang.
• Exposure to Terraform Cloud or advanced Terraform features.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
