Roles & Responsibilities

• Independently looking after the daytoday functions of the department
• Allocation and monitoring the activities to Subordinates on a daytoday basis
• Purchase and Logistics planning
• Procurement of Raw materials packing materials Capital equipment related to projects Engineering materials (Electrical mechanical electronics pneumatics process civil and admin.) Laboratory chemicals consumables and spares and maintenance items. AMCs and CMCs
• Procurement of project requirements of civil works (construction of buildings as per our engineering drawings) coordination with concerned departments to fulfil the targets.
• Executing Annual maintenance contracts.
• Stores and Inventory management.
• Vendor development Vendor rating negotiating with vendors and Alternative Sourcing from time to time.
• Monitoring of Payable Accounts in coordination with Accounts.
• Focus on continuous improvement and cost saving.
• Preparation of the Departmental Budget and monitoring the expenditure and complete auditing in all wings.
• Submission of MIS statements from time to time.
• Coordination with plant and other concerned departments.
• Attend all types of Liaison works concerning all Government departments and complete them withinthe stipulated period.
