Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP &A)
Develop and implement financial strategies policies and procedures to support the organizations growth
objective.
Lead the budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with business goals and
objectives.
Conduct financial analysis including variance analysis trend analysis and scenario planning to provide
insights into business performance and support decisionmaking processes.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements accounting standards and tax regulations relevant to the
fintech industry.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow
statements ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and
regulatory agencies.
3. Risk Management and Controls:
Assess financial risks including credit risk market risk and operational risk and implement strategies to
mitigate risks and safeguard the organizations assets.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information
and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic risk assessments and internal audits to monitor compliance with internal controls and identify
areas for improvement.
4. Cash Flow Management and Treasury Operations:
Manage cash flow liquidity and working capital to support operational needs and financial stability.
Monitor and analyze cash flow projections liquidity positions and capital requirements optimizing cash
management strategies to maximize returns and minimize risks.
Oversee treasury operations including cash management investment management and banking relationships
ensuring efficient use of financial resources.

5. Financial Operations and Systems:
Oversee daytoday financial operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general
ledger accounting.
Implement and maintain financial systems and software applications to support accounting reporting and
analysis functions ensuring data integrity and security.
Streamline financial processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability leveraging technology and
automation solutions where appropriate.
6. Strategic Finance and Business Partner:
Partner with senior management and crossfunctional teams to provide financial insights analysis and
recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking and business planning.
Collaborate with business units to develop financial models business cases and investment proposals for new
initiatives and growth opportunities.
Evaluate potential mergers acquisitions and partnerships conducting financial due diligence and assessing
strategic fit and financial viability.
