Radiologist for evening slot

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies such as Xrays MRIs CT scans and ultrasounds
• Operating and maintaining radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to determine the best imaging approaches for patient care
• Adhering to radiation safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Providing accurate and timely diagnostic reports to assist in patient management and treatment planning
• Participating in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of imaging interpretation
• Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns
• Supervising and training radiologic technologists and other staff as needed
• Staying updated on advances in radiology and medical imaging technology
• Managing workload efficiently and prioritizing urgent cases during the evening shift
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination
• Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences to discuss complex imaging findings
• Participating in research activities and contributing to academic and scientific initiatives
• Adhering to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and decisionmaking

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Diagnostic Radiology
• Licensure to practice medicine and radiology in the designated state or region
• Advanced knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and interpretation
• Ability to effectively operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment and technology
• Understanding of radiation safety practices and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients colleagues and support staff
• Ability to work efficiently and make quick accurate decisions in a fastpaced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with developments in radiology
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to image interpretation and reporting
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize patient care needs
• Adherence to professional and ethical standards in medical practice
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to urgent clinical situations during the evening shift
