Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting patient consultations and medical examinations
• Performing endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopies and colonoscopies
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with digestive disorders
• Monitoring and managing patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• Providing education and counseling to patients and their families
• Contributing to clinical research and academic activities
• Maintaining accurate and updated medical records
• Staying abreast of latest developments and best practices in Gastroenterology

Required Qualifications:

• DM or DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution
• Valid medical license and registration to practice in Punjab
• Minimum of 23 years of clinical experience as a Gastroenterologist
• Expertise in performing endoscopic procedures and interpreting results
• Strong diagnostic and decisionmaking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Experience in conducting and publishing clinical research is preferred
• Sound understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
