Principal Engineer - Java

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. Responsibilities:

- Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java technologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and design specifications.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to predefined coding standards.

- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of the software applications.

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, proposing effective resolutions and implementing fixes.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and quality standards.

- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming languages to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, adhering to timelines and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with 3 to 6 years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).

- Experience in developing web-based applications using Java technologies such as JSP, Servlets, and RESTful web services.

- Proficiency in database concepts and experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.).

- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.

- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within specified deadlines.

- Proactive in staying updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the Java development field.
