Core accountabilities
Employee Relations (Safety Skills Assessment OHS Management All Equipment and
Processes comply with OHS):
Compliance to relevant legislations
Risk Assessments Completed on all processes and equipment
Systems in place to mitigate risks of injuries
5S Housekeeping Standards Maintained (in Maintenance workshop and
Maintenance spare parts warehouse)
Staff training and mentoring
Champion a Safety culture
Preventative Maintenance (Tooling; Equipment):
PM management systems in place
Actual maintenance $ < budget
Preventative Maint Planning and scheduling work loads
Updated and accurate spare parts inventory holdings and consumption
Training and Development Maintenance technicians succession planning
Continuous Improvement:
Breakdown Analysis PDCA to reduce occurrences
Staff training and mentoring in culture of improvement
Support to production to improve OEE and new Product Development
Apply Lean principles
Spare Part Management:
Spare parts management systems in place
Min Critical Spares level held at all times
Cost Management to budget
Production Support (Equipment Breakdown Support; Contractor Management):
Reduced equipment lost time as a result of breakdown repair

Establish and Document Tooling Changeover procedures
Documented Plant Service Programs
Education
Degree qualified in mechanical
engineering or similar
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience
Experience in tooling and equipment
design and optimisation installation of
equipment
Experience in plant maintenance
supervision
Demonstrated experience in supplier
liaison and procurement
Key skills and attitude
Knowledge of precision parts
