The Senior Backend Developer is crucial for our development team focused on creating and maintaining the backbone of our software applications. This role involves designing and implementing serverside logic defining and maintaining the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

• Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend systems that support web and mobile applications.
• Design and implement APIs for internal and external use.
• Foster and maintain a wellorganized codebase with modern coding standards.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Contribute to the improvement of the continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and incorporate them into operations and activities where beneficial.
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; Masters preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Expertise in serverside languages such as Node.js Python Ruby Java or .NET.
• Proficient with database technology such as MySQL PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud messaging APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
