Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our fabulous clients hospitality company. The successful candidate will report to the Ops Director and will be responsible for the purchase ledger sales ledger payment processing reconciliations and credit control.
Responsibilities:
Manage the purchase ledger ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Manage the sales ledger ensuring all payments are received and processed accurately and in a timely manner
Process payments and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Manage credit control ensuring all outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner
Ideally have experience with Sage software
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes
Good understanding of Sage software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable approach to work
