TPF Recruitments client a highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Tonbridge is looking for a part time Senior Accountant to join their team circa 3 days/ 21 hours a week but they can be flexible. This will be a hands on position where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT. You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this exciting client manager position. Our client promotes a friendly and relaxed working environment where you can maintain an excellent work life balance and also be able to work from home 1 day a week.
- Managing a diverse client portfolio including attending client meetings
- Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Corporation tax computations
- Completing more complex management accounts bookkeeping ad VAT work
- Overseeing basic bookkeeping and VAT returns from more junior staff
Requirements
PartTime Senior Accountant Tonbridge
- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience
- 3 years experience within an accountancy practice experience
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
- Experience of Iris and/ or Xero would be advantageous.

For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Chatham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior / Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
