Our client a longtime local manufacturer is looking for a General Labourer for a Filler position within their organization! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application.
This role will essentially be filling product into cans. You must be able to lift 50 lbs read/write/understand English and be able to wear a respirator when required (cleanshaven).
Salary:
$23.00 per hour temporary to permanent.
Hours of Work:
(Night shift FullTime) Monday Wednesday 4:00pm 5:00am
Responsibilities
- Filling product into cans as required by the manufacturing order.
- Working with fellow team members on requirements and quality to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and operating equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
- Routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment as needed.
- General help with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a strong asset.
- Must be able to read write and understand English.
- Able to wear a respirator when required (cleanshaven) as you will be working with chemicals.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work nightshift fulltime 40 hours per week.
- Demonstrable work ethic and reliability
