Regarding our requirements for C resources and scope.
We need to develop a component that intercepts all printers jobs on windows with the followings:
This component aims to intercept all printing jobs from any application to any printer device on
Windows machine starting from Windows 8 the component is required to add watermark on the
printer jobs or stop the printer jobs
The printer interceptor should be a DLL or package that can be used from .Net Application.
Interceptor must be able to intercept all printing jobs regardless of the application or the printing
device.
Interceptor should be able to add Text watermark and Image watermark on the printed jobs.
Interceptor should accept configuration parameters from the caller application to configure the
following:
4.1 Watermark text.
4.2 Watermark Image QR Code
4.3 Watermark formatting.

4.4 Watermark active or inactive.
The Interceptor can stop printing and disable the user from printing.
Interceptor should support Windows 8 1011 with both 32 and 64 architecture.
The caller application and the interceptor will be running from a normal logged in windows user
context and not from administrator context.
Additional Feature to be evaluated Interceptor takes a list of words to redact them on the printed
document.
8.1 Interceptor read the content of the printed job in case of word or PDF.
8.2 Check for a list of words sent by the caller.
8.3 Interceptors replace the words that match with a black block.
