Data Modeler

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into conceptual logical and physical data models
• Design and implement database solutions to support various business applications and reporting requirements
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity through normalization and indexing
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract transform and load data into the database
• Collaborate with database administrators and developers to ensure the implementation of best practices for data modeling and database design
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends patterns and relationships for strategic decisionmaking
• Participate in data architecture discussions and provide recommendations for data management best practices
• Work with business analysts and data engineers to define data standards and governance processes
• Document data models database schemas and ETL processes
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
• Proven experience as a Data Modeler or Database Developer
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database querying
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio ERwin or PowerDesigner
