Job Summary:
The Fleet Logistic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a companys fleet of vehicles managing schedules coordinating logistics and ensuring the smooth transportation of goods or personnel.
Job Responsibility:
1. Plan and coordinate transportation routes for the fleet of vehicles.
2. Monitor vehicle tracking systems to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
3. Coordinate maintenance and repairs for the vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition.
4. Communicate with drivers to provide necessary instructions and updates on schedules.
5. Work with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and materials for the fleet.
6. Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance fuel usage and overall fleet performance.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience in fleet management or a similar logistics role.
2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
5. Proficiency in using fleet management software and tracking systems.
6. A bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
