Responsibilities:

• Assess patients with wounds ulcers and other skin conditions to determine appropriate care interventions and treatment plans.
  
• Develop individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments patient needs and physician recommendations.
  
• Implement evidencebased wound care protocols and treatment modalities to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
  
• Coordinate wound care services and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians physical therapists and wound care specialists.
  
• Monitor and evaluate patient response to wound care interventions adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  
• Educate patients families and caregivers on wound care techniques prevention strategies and selfcare practices.
  
• Document all wound assessments treatments and patient education activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards hospital policies and best practices in wound care management.
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects related to wound care and skin integrity.
  
• Stay updated on advances in wound care technology treatment modalities and evidencebased practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing
  

• RN License in state of employment or compact
  
• BLS
