Our client is a leading shipping company with specializing in the operation and management of maritime assets worldwide. To support its operations in the region our client is looking to hire a :

HR and Admin Manager

(Based in Singapore)


ORGANIZATION

The HR and Admin Manager will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the company. You will ensure that all the company policies and procedures are implemented effectively.


RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations: Manage all HR functions including recruitment onboarding performance management and compliance with employment laws. Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.


Employee Development: Design and implement programs to enhance employee skills and competencies facilitating training sessions and career growth.


Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters to the senior management team handling performance issues disciplinary actions and fostering a positive work environment.


Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits administration including payroll benefits enrolment and conducting benchmarking studies.


Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the HR and Admin team fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment to achieve departmental goals.


Admin Operations: Manage administrative functions such as facilities procurement vendor management and travel arrangements ensuring efficiency and quality service.



Requirements


  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR generalist experience with a proven track record of success in managing HR functions in a dynamic environment.
  • Experienced in a managerial position for at least 23 years and lead a team of HR professionals.
  • Prior experience in the maritime industry is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Singapore employment laws regulations and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proactive resultsoriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
