Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and edit compelling video content that tells a story and captivates the audience
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and execute the vision
• Ensure that the editing style and pace align with the brands guidelines and target audience
• Manage and organize video assets and maintain an efficient workflow throughout the editing process
• Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance the quality of video productions
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and technology
• Work closely with the postproduction team to integrate visual effects animations and graphics into the videos
• Participate in preproduction meetings to provide input on shooting and capturing footage that facilitates the editing process
• Collaborate with sound designers and composers to ensure seamless integration of audio elements
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organizations video style guide
• Ensure the final output of videos meets technical standards and specifications
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior editors as needed
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the video editing process and workflow

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Film Media Production or a related field
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in storytelling and visual creativity
• Proficiency in industrystandard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Excellent understanding of video formats codecs and delivery specifications
• Experience with color correction audio mixing and motion graphics
• Strong grasp of storyboarding and visual storytelling techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment receiving and providing constructive feedback
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage complex projects and timelines effectively
• Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and navigate changes in a fastpaced production environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale effectively
• Knowledge of emerging trends and advancements in video production and editing technology
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver highquality results within tight deadlines
• Understanding of video optimization for various digital platforms and social media channels
• Experience in editing various video types including promotional videos interviews event coverage and shortform content
• Passion for storytelling through visual media and a keen eye for detail
