Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in accordance with the schools curriculum.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress providing timely feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance.
• Participate in faculty meetings professional development opportunities and school events.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
