West Coast Supply Group is a fastgrowing multinational distributor of premium fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). As a Legal Intern you will be provided with a unique opportunity to learn and contribute within this leading FMCG environment.

This is a handson legal internship with multiple priorities being presented to you to handle simultaneously. From supporting our Foods division in their Chupa Chups flavoured popcorn journey and building new distribution relationships with premium FMCG brands to creating further awareness with respect to regulatory compliance and setting up a logistics framework for our company in Miami your days in Legal may look something like the following:

• Providing key legal research on new and developing legislation litigation and market developments within the FMCG category and proactively advising the legal team on such topics;
• Assisting with drafting reviewing and negotiating all types of commercial contracts such as purchase supply agency licencing and distribution;
• Assisting with facetoface training to our divisions on areas such as commercial contracting intellectual property EU trade and packaging laws competition laws incoterms compliance and more;
• Assisting legal team with internal policies related to our code of conduct whistleblowing third party due diligence and antibribery & .

Your profile

• You are fluent in English;
• You are a third or final year university student studying in the field of law;
• You are excited about FMCG business and retail;
• You have a keen interest in Competition Law Trade Law Intellectual Property Commercial Contracting and Employment Law;
• You are able to prioritize your tasks and keep a list of ongoing projects you are working on;
• You are able to organize your day so that you complete tasks within the requested timeframe and you communicate any delays beforehand;
• You are looking for a challenging internship where you are expected to go the extra mile. You are able to work well under pressure;
• You listen carefully to instructions given and you are proactive in picking up tasks. You take initiative and you like to learn;
• You are curious and ask questions. You communicate openly and actively bring issues to the attention of the Legal team to get them solved.
