Job Title: Component Specialist

Relevant Experience : 1 & Above

Job Location: Bangalore/Chennai (Open to explore from other locations who is ready to relocate)

Job Description Summary

Responsible and accountable for evaluation review and clearing of conditions in the underwriting process based on appropriate underwriting guidelines and procedures. Also responsible for a pipeline of assigned tasks such as income review appraisal/condo review or title review. Determine documentation needed and if applicable conditions for loans and clearly communicate directly with required parties to resolve conditions.

1. The Component Specialist reviews loans to assess risk in compliance with company guidelines and state and federal reporting guideline and approve or declines loans.

2. Responsible for ensuring data integrity to confirm the accuracy of automated underwriting findings.

3. Adheres to internal underwriting guidelines investor requirements and federal regulations to ensure loan quality.

4. Verifies and analyzes all documentation including: credit income appraisal and title information.

5. Responsible for interacting with Mortgage Professionals or loan processors to obtain information from the borrower or to seek clarification about documents in the loan file.

6. Effectively communicates required conditions/stipulation and assists where possible to expedite the verified approval on purchase loans.

7. Strictly adheres to all applicable internal NPI policies procedures and protects confidentiality of borrower information.

8. Performs administrative duties as required by Management.

Required Skills:

  • Candidate should have relevant years of US mortgage underwriting experience
  • Well versed with FNMA. FHLMC knowledge of GNMA and investor guidelines is an additional benefit
  • Should have good analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Should have decisionmaking skill when applying in business judgment
  • Evaluate complete loan documents and should provide approval or denial decision
  • Seasoned income calculation Salaried income business income retired other income and rental income
  • Assets verification include borrower s bank account statement retirement accounts mutual funds and other investments.
  • Validating and processing the Loan documents on behalf a Mortgage lender organization.
  • Evaluating evidence of borrower s willingness and ability to repay the obligation
  • Good communication Presentation skills Selfmotivated and hard working
  • Ready to work in Night Shifts
  • Current Location within 20KMs
