EveryMatrix is looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal and Compliance department in our Malta office.


    Company Intro:

    EveryMatrix is a leading B2B SaaS provider delivering iGaming software content and services. We provide platform casino sports betting payments and affiliate systems to over 300 customers worldwide. The company is profitable has over EUR 100m in annual revenues and 950 employees in offices across 12 countries in Europe Asia and the US. EveryMatrix was founded in 2008 and remains a founderowned private company.

    EveryMatrix is a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA) and European Lotteries Association. In September 2023 it became the first iGaming supplier to receive WLA Safer Gambling Certification. EveryMatrix is proud of its commitment to safer gambling and player protection whilst producing market leading gaming solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft/review/advise on a wide range of commercial iGaming and software contracts in accordance with company procedures and applicable laws
    • Managing contract changes deliverables and associated correspondence and documentation
    • Providing advice on contract risks and issues implementation and compliance
    • Provide legal and regulatory advice to the Commercial teams during the contract process
    • Dispute and litigation management including liaising with third party advisors
    • Assist with KYC queries
    • Provide effective legal advice and support across all levels of the business on all legal issues affecting EveryMatrix Group such as intellectual property industry regulations and employment issues

    Requirements:

    • University degree in Master of Advocacy or equivalent University degree in Law
    • 2 years experience in the contract management legal field
    • Knowledge of iGaming legal landscapes considered an advantage
    • Fluency in English including legal English
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
    • High standard of work ethic always ensuring to complete all assigned tasks accurately
    • Detailoriented analytical and able to provide pragmatic solutions against tight timeframes
    • Ability to identify high risk areas and to recommend actions to mitigate such risks
    • Excellent diplomatic and negotiating skills
    • Responsible and able to work on own initiative
    • Ability to multitask prioritise and work under pressure
    • Ability to work in a flexible complex and changing business environment
    • Ability to communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders including authorities

    Work Life Balance:

    • 40% work from home over any 3month period after the first 3 months
    • Extra leave days added depending on seniority inside the company 43 days including public holidays by year 5 of employment
    • 10 sick leave days per year with no doctors certificate requirement (excluding legal medical leave)
    • 21 weeks of maternity leave
    • 4 weeks of paternity leave
