I am looking for a Duty Manager to jointhis fantastic Leisure provider and be a pivotal part of the teams success.This is an incredibly exciting Leisure Management role with progression anddefinitely a leisure job not to be missed!

Theperfect candidate has a passion for all things swimming motivated by leading ateam Health & Safety orientated and is creative in running programmes andevents. The DutyManager is responsible for the managing of the Swim Teachers development ofthe Swim Programme and assisting with wet side operations.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit retain develop and foster the growth of your Swim Teachers.
• Enhance the aquatic program optimising Swim School and Learn to Swim attendance.
• Provide strategic and tactical input to enhance the programs effectiveness.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with local schools utilising the facility.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Poolside operations and logging any building or maintenance issues.
• Undertake duty management shifts including opening and closing responsibilities throughout the centre.
• Stay up to date with the swim industry and maintaining a high level of knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:

• Management or Supervisory experience in the Leisure industry.
• Experience in running programs and events.
• Experience in poolside wet side operations. Pool Plant Operator and NPLQ certifications desirable.
• Previous Swim Teaching experience desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are a must.
