Quantity Surveyor

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team within the facade sector.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for cost control and management throughout the project lifecycle. This is a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost estimates and prepare budgets for construction projects
  
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine quantities of materials required
  
• Source and obtain competitive prices for materials and equipment
  
• Prepare and submit accurate cost reports final accounts and payments
  
• Monitor project costs and identify areas of potential savings or cost overruns
  
• Price variations
  
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
  

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry
  
• Knowledge of Facades Curtain Walling or Glazing sector added bonus
  
• Proficient in using relevant software for quantity takeoff and cost estimation
  
• Familiarity with construction contracts specifications and drawings
  
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
