Role: Senior Finance Analyst Ecommerce

Location: Central London

Salary: 60k 70k plus bonus

The Role: This opportunity is working for a wellestablished and successful Global Retailer with an established brand in the sector and a very exciting strategy for the future. You will be a crucial member of the Commercial Finance team reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance. This role will play a key role in leading the online team to deliver targets. You will also be supporting and challenging performance across multiple facets of the business whilst also creating continuous process improvements across reporting reviewing performance forecasting and budgeting. Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the online team to submit annual budget for the global online business working extensively with buying and merchandising online trade digital marketing and IT
• Complete ownership of the online P&L with a focus on profitability by territory
• Pre and post analysis of online promotions to ensure financially viable and providing commentary on key highlights and learnings
• Forecast and periodical reforecast of online P&L highlighting key risks and opportunities to senior management
• Responsible for all online month end postings working closely with finance team to ensure accurate. Producing and presenting monthly commentary to senior management on key variances against budget and last year
• Supporting digital marketing and online trade team with monthly financial review. Working closely to evaluate revenue and spend by channel with a strong focus on ROI
• Ownership of weekly reporting on sales margin and key digital KPIs tracking actual performance against budget and last year
• Supporting the online team on financial modelling and strategic analysis on large investment projects to be presented to Finance for approval
• Preparation and review of smaller investment and commercial business appraisals and providing recommendations and post investment appraisal of Online projects
• Own and maintain financial models to assist with short term business decisions for example promotions discount analysis and delivery analysis

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Previous experience business partnering buying and merchandising online trade digital marketing and IT teams in a Retail business
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving excellent financial and commercial performance
• Proven experience of analysing and interpreting data with the ability of summarising key points and making recommendations
• Selfmotivated team player happy to work independently and build relationships across the business
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload whilst maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders
• Highly skilled in Microsoft software with experience in using finance and reporting software
