Project Engineer

• Collaborate with the project delivery team to develop project scope plans schedules and budgets for solar minigrid installations.
  
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders to determine optimal system design and layout for solar projects.
  
• Work closely with Design Engineers to prepare detailed engineering designs including electrical schematics equipment specifications and bill of materials required for solar projects.
  
• Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials.
  
• Provide regular project implementation updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance during project implementation and postinstallation support.
  
• Proactively identify potential project risks and develop response actions to mitigate negative impacts.
  
• Engage with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and delivery of solar projects.
  
• Proficiency in CAD and Solar Design Simulation Software.
  
• Willingness to travel to project sites in various locations as required.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated problemsolving capability.
  
• Passion for leveraging renewable energy for sustainable development in communities.
