About the Job



Our client is an award winning builder in Melbourne seeking an experienced Production Estimator, focusing on high-end custom/bespoke residential projects. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Construction teams to ensure seamless workflow and budget adherence. Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you'll be responsible for comprehensive production estimating, meticulous order management, and thorough product research. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and safeguarding project margins while minimizing errors and ensuring accurate documentation using industry-leading software tools. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in architectural intricacies and bespoke residential construction to contribute to the success of prestigious, custom-built homes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting production estimating and ordering of production jobs within designated timeframes.
  
  
• Review architectural plans, engineering drawings, and project specifications to understand project requirements and scope of work.
  
  
• Product research and collaborating with the team to achieve workflow and budget goals.
  
  
• Maintaining, protecting, and reporting margins for each job while minimizing ETS orders.
  
  
• Ensuring all client interactions are recorded/documented on Databuild/ClickHome.
  
  
• Liaising with sales, operations, and construction teams and conducting follow-up calls when required.
  
  
• Being aware of forecast dates and ensuring accurate job recording.
  
  
• Providing reports and workflow documentation as needed and following up on documentations directed by the Manager.
  
  

What you will bring to the role

• Strong background in Production Estimating within the Custom/Bespoke residential building space.
  
  
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with estimating systems.
  
  
• Preferred experience in sales & production estimating and basement construction, providing additional insights into project requirements.
  
  
• Exposure or experience with ClickHome is highly desirable.
  
  
• Willingness to work in a fun team environment, possessing a sense of humor while maintaining a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  
  
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely delivery of estimates and project milestones, contributing to efficient project planning and execution.
  
  
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards, ensuring accurate assessments and optimal project outcomes.
  
  
• Ability to effectively resolve challenges and optimize processes, contributing to continuous improvement and project success.
